| The SRES® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) program originated
in the USA, and is an intensive two-day training program that
includes a written final test.
The SRES® content was evaluated and adapted to the Canadian
market with the consultation of CARP, Canada’s Association for
the Fifty-Plus, and The 50Plus Group, the company producing this
web site and the CARP web site. Both CARP and the 50Plus Group
endorse this training program.
The program covers a wide range of subjects: understanding the
needs and wants of the 50+ group; understanding the financial,
tax and other options and challenges of the 50+; how to help clients
develop the best housing strategy, taking into account both the
needs and opportunities; and how to provide the best level of
service.
Sales Representatives who complete the training program and
receive the SRES® designation are highly equipped to provide
expert counsel and exceptional levels of service.
CARP and The 50Plus Group have worked closely with Royal LePage
in bringing this program into Canada, exclusively for Royal LePage
sales representatives and brokers.
